Twice As Nice Bay Area

Recently, I was able to work with some of the shops on the Avenue (Downtown San Bruno is affectionately referred to as ’The Avenue’) and I was very excited to collaborate with friends over at Twice As Nice Bay Area. They have a great store with lots of shopping options and they are super cool people. I had an idea to display a painting but Josh and Sadana decided to showcase that and a few more paintings in an effort to try and drive business down to the Ave but also to show their support for local artists like myself.  There will be more events to come and opportunities to meet Josh and Sadana as we try and make San Bruno a new hotspot, in the meantime come down and visit their shop at 559 San Mateo Avenue in San Bruno and check out the new 12 foot mural that I am unveiling!

RANDOM ART DROP

Enjoy this break from the story tellin and check out some paintings of old and new, I’ll be dropping more periodically so you can get a feel of what I do:

SHEEWOL

This is a personal piece that I created for my sister in law Cheryl. She was looking for something kinda different and unique, and while she likes my work she is not easily impressed, so for this painting I stepped back, thought a little different and gave her a heart felt piece that no one else would have, a one-of-a-kind painting nothing like my usual stuff.  This is a painting representing the Westlake District of Daly City, an aerial perspective of where my wife and I would hang out as kids, at Cheryl’s apartment on Crestwood between Belmar and South Mayfair. The dot represents where her apartment was on the map. The reason I picked this is because of the sentimental impact it has in the message, I have known my wife for 28 years and the earliest memories I have of her include the living room and front lawn of the apartment complex, as well as when I met Cheryl, a hardworking single mom, super cool, let us smoke and chill as long as you followed her rules you were good. ...
